Campaign types

When you create a UGC campaign, you choose how creators work with your brand.

Non-direct hire

• Creators produce content and publish on their own socials.
• They submit a live post URL so you can verify it.
• Classic influencer / UGC collaboration.
• You can also turn on App Install (Circuul CPA) on this type.

Direct hire

• Creators deliver finished files to the brand.
• You publish (or use the assets elsewhere).
• Payout is tied to approved submissions, not a public live URL.
• Deliverables often include vertical and horizontal formats.
• Also eligible for App Install CPA.

Sync upload

Coordinated same-day drop:

• Everyone shares one publish date.
• Creators need social accounts connected so Thspian can help with timed posting (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube when available).
• Content usually needs to be brand-approved at least about 3 days before that publish date.
• Creators typically get a reminder about 48 hours before publish.

Use this when you want many creators to post together for a launch.

Commission

Performance marketing rather than seat-only content fees:

• Creators earn a % commission on sales (for example a contest store or an external checkout you connect).
• And/or install-style CPA depending how you set the campaign up.
• Hosting usually needs an active Campaign Host plan.
• Money flows through the campaign’s commission wallet.
• You choose whether applications need your approval, or whether creators are accepted automatically when they apply.

A commission campaign can point at a contest — contest is a target, not a separate campaign type.

App Install (with content)

On Non-direct hire or Direct hire campaigns you can enable App Install:

• Creators still do the content work and
• Earn a flat CPA for each attributed install (or web visit).
• You copy an app token into your mobile/web app using Circuul.
